Q: iPhone Keeps Prompting "Allow this device to access photos and videos?"

I have a iPhone 6 and ipad 3 that iPhone Keeps Prompting "Allow this device to access photos and videos?" just started with last iTunes update. I have latest ios updates and running Microsoft 10.

Also neither show in iTunes to sync. Cannot locate anything in preferences in iTunes related or that makes a difference. I give permission but nothing happens after that. I have restarted everything and uninstalled iTunes but no help. Reset iPhone and lost all my settings and wifi passwords, that ****** me off. no luck.

I have plugged into a laptop running 8 and latest iTunes with no issues to test cables......worked fine on windows 10 until last iTunes update???

any help appreciated.....

thanks  -mike

For me iPhone connected to Windows but was not showing in iTunes, have latest updates installed Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1607 for x64-based Systems (KB3189866) and iTunes 12.5.1.21, could not find Apple Mobile Device USB Driver in Device Manager, had to browse to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers and right click on usbaapl64.inf and click on Install then iPhone connected and shows up in iTunes.

    I don't see the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers .
    I have C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support .

Is it the same? Because I tried it and it shows me a message that it is updated.

If it works then it works, but I'm pretty sure you should have a Drivers folder inside. Did you check for C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers? For the all 64-bit version of iTunes that should be where the drivers folder is located, the other might be a remnant from a 32-bit install. If needs be go for the full clear up and rebuild of iTunes.
