Q: Imac with 2 extra displays, Itunes (only) not staying on assigned display when screens go to sleep
I have been having a strange occurrence on my multi display computer over the last few months. I am not sure exactly when it started, which makes it harder to troubleshoot, but here goes:
Specs: iMac 27" late 2013, running 10.10.4 (yosemite), with two additional displays, both Dell, 21" connected by Displayport to Thunderbolt port (lets call it 2), 19" connected by DVI to Thunderbolt port (lets call it 3)
I have multiple programs open on each display, when the displays (or entire computer), goes to sleep.. for many months they would could back out of sleep in the same locations. BUT a month or two ago, for some reason my Itunes window (only), which is positioned on the third screen, would sometimes revert back to the iMac main screen. Only the iTunes window from the third screen does it, not Skype, or Calendar, or Messages located on that same screen. They all stay put on the screen, but the iTunes program sometimes bounces back to the main screen upon waking up from display sleep. Also it does not do this always, only sometimes when the display goes to sleep. I am completely at a loss for why its doing this. I do not believe its a hardware issue, as I had the monitor hooked up for many months, and had no unsolicited app movement. My guess is maybe it happened with the change to Yosemite, but I don't remember exactly when I did it, and when this started happening.
Any help much appreciated..
