Does the iphone 6 show up on drive desktop

Question

My iphone 6+ does not show up in the finder as a device. I have some need to see what files are there and move/remove them

Is this the "new" apple? if so, I heartily dislike it! I have latest os installed. on phone and Yosemite on Mac. All help greatly appreciated!

No iPhone has ever showed up in Finder with any version of iOS or OS X. Nothing new.

What type of file are you trying to find and move from the phone to the Mac?
