Tried to recover but now just goes from Apple logo to🚫

HI hope someone can help me I was trying to restore my daughters macb Pro because of all this firm ware her x had installed on it and didn't know it for 2 years lol. But it had several owners administration accounts on there.so I erased and tried to do a recovery but all the firm ware was still there with files and had owners, AND I DID THE MOST SECURED ERASE . And i am by far no expert but do did see that crud still on there.but anyways now when I try to start it up it just goes from the apple logo to a Then back to the logo. I have tried the cammand R and the command option R no luck . I hope someone can help and thanx in advance 🙂

o and I installed the el capitan update first it did have maverick before but now it just has the nogo logo.
