Older emails not showing on phone

I have a 5s that is running IOS 9.0.2.

It is only showing emails that are 2 weeks and newer. I have not deleted them and am tired of having to go to my computer to read an email that should

be on my phone.

What has changed to cause this?

iPhone 5s, iOS 9.0.2

Not sure what email account you're using but double check: settings - mail - email account - mail days to sync -- set to never.

I am using IMAP for incoming server, SMTP for outgoing server. I don't see any setting to set sync to never!
