I have a lot of pictures on my iPad and I would like to send them to Icloud and also transfer them to my pc. Is there a way to do this? Will the pictures still be on the iPad after I do this? I need the room the pictures are taking up.

Pictures in iCloud will still take up space on the iPad, as a copy i kept on the iPad for offline access.
Transfer them to the computer for safe keeping as per the article above. Then decide whether you need all of them on iCloud.
Wow that was the fastest answer I have ever received. Thank you so much for your thoughts. I will go the site and try to transfer pictures over and see exactly what is in the cloud. Thanks again, I really appreciate it.
