Is memory on ATI Radeon HD 5750 1024 MB upgradeable?

I have a mid-2010 27" iMac with an ATI Radeon HD 5750 1024 MB graphics board. I have just upgraded to El Capitan and screen redrawing has become pathetic. Then I found that Photoshop CC was telling me that certain functions had been disabled because I had less than 512MB of graphics memory. So I presume that one of the memory chips on the graphics board is dead. I know some memory is soldered in. Is this the case here or can the memory be replaced?

OS X El Capitan (10.11), 2 GB RAM, Epson printer & Scanner (

The graphics card can be replaced if it is defective; its' virtual memory cannot be upgraded. Here are the specs for your model (I believe):

FWIW, your profile shows that you are running on only 2 GB RAM? If that is correct, you should very seriously consider installing more RAM.
