Lid Open/Close operation
Lid Open/Close used to turn my 17" Late 2011 MackBookPro On or Off. Now i have to manually power ON or OFF. Is there a fix for this?

To my knowledge, closing the cover puts the Mac to Sleep, not off. In Sleep the status of the Mac is written to disk so that status can more quickly be restored vice a real bootup
