Reset Open Directory local network user password, with indication Require a password change at next login don’t work.

Hallo Community,

I have set up an Open Directory service on a Mac Mini server and created on it local network users. They are logged with local network account on their Macbooks and converted the local network accounts to mobile accounts with admin right on the client.

I can change the local network users Passwords from the OD and this work without any difficulty.

But when I try to reset a user Password from the Open Directory, and check the box to Require a password change at next login, it don’t work anymore. The users give the new password, then get the reset password windows, however any new password, that the give is not accept and I have then to go back on the OD, change again the password and this time uncheck the box Require a password change at next login.

Have I to set up something else on the OD? What should I do, in order that, it works?

p.s: There is no password policies on the OD.

Thank and best regards
