Purchased iBook textbook will not come out of the cloud onto my iPad.

I purchased an iBook textbook for my iPad yesterday, and it will not come out of the cloud onto my iPad. The iPad requirements for this textbook are that I have iBooks 2 or later and iOS 5 or later.

I think I have iBooks 2 or later. When I open iBooks in settings, at the very top of the page, it says iBooks 4.4. I also think I have iOS 5 or later. When I open settings, general, about, I see version number 9.0.2. I think I have the iPad (third generation) A1416.

This textbook size is 1.57 GB. I have 2.8 GB of available space.

I successfully downloaded another textbook earlier in the school year. I can also successfully download other books that are now in my cloud.

Any suggestions?
