Supervised iPads - How to stop the iOS update popup

Hi,

We have a number of schools using iPads which are supervised. These iPads are still receiving notifications that a new iOS is available and the popup appears informing the user.

Is there a way to prevent this popup appearing?

Thanks,

Matt

Apple wants you to update and you settings wise you can't block a manual update.

However if you are network admin or can get in contact with them they can block the iPads from getting the updates thru DNS (you can see similar blocks at the link below). NOTE:However if an Ipad were taken off site it could still be updated.
