I forgot the administrator password on my old Mac laptop 10.5. I need to download an Epson driver and cannot without my password.
I do not have a disc and my password guesses are not acceptable. Is there a way to unlock and reset? Any assistance would be appreciated and please be aware that I am not real tech minded. TIA.

Perhaps you never set a password and you're mistaken in thinking that you did? You've nothing to lose in trying again and this time not keying in any password at all.
