USB headsets losing sound from Chrome Browser
We use USB headsets for voip based inbound phone calls on MacBook Airs and iMacs in our customer service center. All of the computers are running Yosemite 10.10.5. All the headsets on all of the computers (about 40) will lose audio from only the browser application periodically, especially after a period of time when there are no calls. A unplug and replug of the headset will restore the sound. Is there a way to address this? The lost sound connection will cause my agents to have to decline the call.
