Error 4280 when burning CDs with itunes

After initial success I can no longer burn my playlists to CDs in Windows 10 and running iTunes 12.3.0. The installed CDRW drive is a PLDS DVD-RW DH16AFSH. I get an error message "the attempt to burn a disc failed. An unknown error occurred (4280)
