My teenager has been using his phone during school. He needs the phone so we can communicate with him if need, but we don't want him to access the internet. We have limited his data so he can't use it, but how can we shut off the wifi so that he can't turn it back on??? THANK YOU!

You can't. If your child cannot be trusted to follow the rules, you may want to consider getting a basic phone with no WiFi. That would enable you to stay in touch with him but would allow him to do very little else.
Or, you could do what my parents did: call the school if it was an emergency.
