Iphone 5 emoji's freeze after each use and Icloud wont backup after ios 9.0.2 update

Ever since i updated my phone, my emoji's freeze every time I try to use them in a message. Also my icloud won't back my files up on at all on WI-FI. Any suggestions or fixes?
