in photo i do not see my selections for sharing photos - when I select a photo to share it selects all photos - how do i clear this up?

In using the Apple Photo app I am not getting my choices displayed when I try to share a photo. All that displays is iCloud Photo Sharing although I have that turned off and have Facebook, Shutterfly and Linkedin selected under the more menu. Also I select a single photo but when I hit the share icon it automatically selects all my photos. I am running the latest version of Yosemite on a new iMAC 27 inch retina system. How can I fix this problem?
