is macoscanner a legit website?

While doing a medical search using Firefox, I got a message from macoscanner.com telling me I had acquired a virus from the site I visited. Is this legit? Or another scam?

MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.1)

SCAM. No one can determine such stuff from outside your computer.

You cannot Trust these guys any more than the ones with the thick India accents who telephone to tell you there is a problem with your Windows computer (regardless of whether you have EVER owned a Windows computer).
