My iPad do not understand the sensor

I turned screen rotation lock (accidentally). It worked, then the screen does not rotate horizontally and then, 5 min ago i want to unblock my iPad, but it doesn t unblock! I could unblock it only with Siri s help (siri understands my requests). What s wrong?😢
