On my Mac, how do I block the sender's picture ID in a text?

I receive texts simultaneously on my MacBook and iPhone. I do not want to receive pictures of the sender, but even after removing the picture from my Contacts list, I still get the picture ID on the Mac (the iPhone issue is solved). My question is - how do I block the sender's picture ID from texts that are received on my MacBook? All operating systems are reasonably current (OS X Yosemite 10.10.4 and OS 9.0.2)
