AC band available "only" on 5 GHz channel?
Is the newer AC band Only available on the 5 GHz channel, or is it also available on the older 2.4 GHz channel?

"ac" is only available on the 5 GHz band.
And, of course, you will need an "ac" capable computer, tablet or phone to be able to take advantage of the faster "ac" speeds.
