What javascript event occurs when voiceover selects and reads text?

Hi, I have a website where I'm trying to keep the scroll set to particular areas to keep and place a div in full view so you can select the radio buttons when they're read by Voiceover.

I have a solution for the radio buttons themselves using focusin that works as intended. This issue is that when text is selected and read that is also in the parent element I have the focusin procedure set for, the text that is being read goes out of view.

Is there a javascript event that is fired when text is read that isn't part of buttons or a link that I can use similar to focusin?
