Can't play music since iTunes keeps asking to authorize this computer

I bought a new macbook and have authorized iTunes - I have 4 out of 5 available. It says its authorized, but when I go to play a song the popup to authorize this computer comes up. Basically it ignores the fact I have authorized this laptop.

I tried shutting down and restarting. Restarting iTunes. I tried deleting the /Users/Shared/SC Info directory as was mentioned in another thread. Did not help.

MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5), iTunes 12.3.0.44

Thanks Linc. Will do.

Something I realized that happened yesterday may be part of the issue. When I booted up it loaded this window to reset everything and enter my apple ID etc. as if I lost my password and couldn't remember it. I ended up rebooting a few times with the same screen coming up as there was no option to exit out of it. After a few tries I was able to boot to the regular screen and login normally.
