How to change the iCloud account on my iPhone 4s

Hi there

I'm trying to change the iCloud account on my iPhone to my own but my bothers account is on it at the moment.

When I try signing out it come up with a message saying do you want to delete this Account and its data off your phone.

I want to delete the data off the phone but I don't want to delete the account completely as he still needs to use it.
