6 plus and 9.0.2

I am experiencing lock screen and slow to no response out of 64gb 6 plus after updating to 9.0.2. Have tried reboot, reset and restore to factory settings with no success. Phone is virtually unusable when this happens. Verizon's response was to wait for a new update from apple. Very frustrated right now!
