I have just erased everything on my old phone, do I need to do anything with my carrier before I sell. I am using the same carrier (att)/number on my new phone

I have just erased everything on my old iPhone 5s. Do I need to do anything with my att account before I sell. I am using the same account on my new 6s.

No once you activate your new phone assuming it is the same number your old phone will no longer be connected to AT&T network. You should see no service on the old phone.
