I downloaded El Capitan, then Quickbooks 2013 for Mac crashed and is not compatible with EC yet. Can I undo EC? Thank you, George

Hey thank you, I am a bit of a rookie. I have Time Machine turned on and a WD Passport back-up drive hooked up, never unplugged. This is my Coordinator's computer and I downloaded EC, so I'm toast with her. Thanks for any direction.
Please read this article for instructions on how to downgrade, it's for the beta of El Capitan but it still may work.
