settings notification badge

I have an IPhone 6 and the notification badge showed up on my settings icon. There was nothing inside settings that pointed to the notification. There was an update to IOS 9.0.2 available but that was not marked as such. I updated to 9.0.2 but the notification badge is still there. I have looked through every option in settings and nothing is showing a notification, i have restarted but it's still there.. How do i get rid of the notification badge off of the settings icon?
