When I work on a document in its full screen size, the dock is still there. How can I make a setting to see the dock constantly only on the desktop besides the option of hiding and showing the dock by moving the mouse?

Are you using some non-Apple supplied app? Are you really using full screen, obtained by clicking the green button in the upper left?
Here's what my screen looks like using Apple's Pages - no dock is there.
Not on my Pages. When I use the Pages to work on a document, I still see the dock menu, so right now my setting for dock is "hide and show" which is quite uncomfortable for me cuz then whenever I need it I always have to use the mouse even on the desktop screen... );
Perhaps your mouse was touching the very bottom of the screen. Was it?
Is the menu at the top of the screen hidden, or is that visible?
Are you sure you got to full screen by clicking on the round green button in the upper left of the window?
This is how Safari look like when I open the browser. Notice how the mouse point is not on the dock or at the bottom of the screen. It's always on every windows which gets to be very annoying at times. The dock menu is always there. Is thereno way to fix the dock only on the desktop besides setting the dock with the "hide and show" option? 😟 I mean that's fine if this version seriously doesn't offer that kind of option yet (hopefully they can fix this issue in the next version if that's possible), but it's just going to get more and more irritated for me though, so if there is any way I can set it up, please let me know! Thanks! 🙂
I just found out that in the screenshot it didn't capture the mouse point. I guess Mac doesn't include mouse point when capturing the screen, but I have tried to put the mouse point in the middle of the google webpage in the screenshot..
There is a way too achieve a clear desktop except for showing the Dock.
http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/48203/desktop-pirate. This free app gives you the option to clear your desktop though you may have to hide your Mac HD separately. When the desktop is clear, go to Apple Logo > dock > and turn dock hiding off.
