How to Restart an iPhone 5 if the lock screen is frozen and the lock button is broken?

My lock button has been broken for a while now so I have been using the assistive touch options to lock my phone. However, this morning my lock screen seems to be frozen. The assistive touch still works so I know the lock screen isn't broken however I have no clue how to restart my phone (b/c you need to slide to power down when using assistive touch). Is there any way to do this? Thanks!
