Hi,
After accessing the El Capitan page in Applications Store and pressing the download icon I only get an endlessly rotating wheel with no further information. El Capitan does not download. Have repeatedly tried to download the operating system over the past 8 days.

Little Snitch and anti-virus software interfere with the Mac App Store.
DNS -
Some folks resolve download and other connection issues by using Google Public DNS services. The best use is to use it as the DNS configuration in your modem/router/gateway device, but often the configuration in the computer or iOS device will over ride the other configuration if you don't have access.
