any suggestions on an out of date browser?
iMac (21.5-inch Mid 2010), Mac OS X (10.6.8)
If you upgrade the version of OS X on your Mac that will include a newer version of Safari.

If you need to stay at OS 10.6.8 to keep running older software, you can switch to the FireFox browser. If still runs under OS 10.6 and is regularly updated for security.
Only get FireFox from their official site:

Remember that when you move away from OS 10.6.8, older programs like AppleWorks and any version of MS Office older than Office 2008.Older versions of Adobe Creative Suite will also not work. You can use this site to determing compatibility of programs with newer versions of teh mac OS:
