Madden Mobile keeps crashing - how do I recover the $20 dollars I've spent?

Madden Mobile loaded on my iPhone 5c has crashed. I've spent $20+ on it and am concerned if I delete and reinstall the app, I will not only lose my $dollars spent but also my status in the game. The blogs say to do a shut off and restart the phone, do a hard boot, update the OS, etc.... nothing works. Please advise.
