How can I set up my Airport Express to act as a mobile hotspot?

I don't have any instructions on this but I was told that you can just plug in an ethernet cable to an ethernet port and have your own LAN. Is there anything more I need to do in terms of configuring the Express?

AirPort Express 802.11n (2nd generation), Mac OS X (10.6.3)

Sorry but you need to spell this out a lot more..

Is the ethernet cable going to an existing wireless router or to a computer?

Are you trying to make a wireless hotspot for your devices in a hotel for example.. ?? The Express will work fine if there is ethernet in the room.. you do need to setup in router mode and ignore double NAT but that is not a problem.

Hi.Yes I'm trying to set up a hotspot with an ethernet cable to the ethernet port on a wall, which I assume would connect to the Express. Ideally, I would be doing this in a hotel or some cafe but anywhere there is an ethernet port would work. Would I need to get a HomePlug to pull this off?

Is there an instruction guide on putting my Express into router mode?
