9.0.2 Control center

Has anyone found a way around the 9.0.2 Control Center monopoly?

How it used to work:

The Pause/Play , >> and << used to control whatever audio program you were using.

How it work now:

The Pause/Play , >> and << ONLY CONTROLS iTUNES.

So say if you are listening to a book with an app used by public libraries and you push Pause/Play on your headphones (which accesses the Control Center) ... you get itunes! If you are using another music app and you push Pause/Play on your headphones (which accesses the Control Center) ... you get itunes!

No matter what you are listening to and you push Pause/Play on your headphones (which accesses the Control Center) ... you get itunes!

So Apple has made it impossible to listen to anything but itunes with Hands-free devices. Not exactly user friendly or SAFE Apple!
