IT WONT CHARGE UGHUGH

From reseting it to using multiple outlets/computers. My ipod still won't charge. Should I buy a new one or?? Because I know my warranty has expired but I'd still like to know if there is anything else I can do before I spend $300+ dollars a new one.

If you can’t charge your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

- Try another cable. The cable for 5G or later iPod (lightning connector) seems to be more prone to failure than the older cable.

- If a 5G ot later iPod

- Try another charging source

- Inspect the dock connector on the iPod for bent or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.

- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for $99 for 16 GB 5G and $149 for the other 5Gs They do not fix yours.
