ios 9.0.2 Mail and Messages crash

Have had ios 9.0.2 loaded on iphone 6+ for several days without issue. Suddenly started having issues where the Mail, Messages, and Notes apps crash after typing just a few words. Have seen a few other, similar issues posted but none with definitive resolution. Help!
