Stop activating bookmark when moving mouse to the left on Safari

So I have a habit of always moving my mouse to the left hand side whenever i'm watching a video. With the new update to El Capitan, whenever I move the mouse to the left side of the screen on safari (while fullscreen) the annoying bookmark sidebar appears and blocks 1/4 of the screen. Is there any way to remove the gesture/action?
