Q: Why are multiple copies of the same items appearing in iCloud Drive since upgrade to El Capitan?

Since upgrading to El Capitan on my Mac mini, last week, I have found that there are multiple copies of the same documents stored in iCloud Drive, without me putting them there.

This will quickly use up all the space i have, so I would like a remedy to this problem.

Also, I find it boring to have to go to the Finder then scroll down to reach iCloud Drive. There must be a neater way...
