iPod Touch won't charge without pressure to connector...

My iPod Touch 5th gen. won't charge unless I apply pressure to the end of the cable where it inserts into the IPod. If I pull the connector toward me while its connected it charges. What can I do without holding or applying pressure all the time?

I have...

- Tried multiple cables

- Tried other charging sources

- Inspected the dock connector for bend or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.

- Carefully cleaned inside the dock/port.

iPod touch, iOS 6.0.2, help please
