I have the charger on but the light is not turning on the charger and I am losing power.
MacBook, Mac OS X (10.5.8)
Can you advise what I can do with MacBook that is not charging? I am losing power. If I need to take it in, how do I make an appointment at a nearby store?
Do you have a friend with a similar charger which you could try. Seems like your charger may be suspect.
I have 2 chargers and have tried both but the charger lights do not go on.
First, try an SMC reset. Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC) on your Mac - Apple Support
Otherwise to take both Macbook and charger to your local store is the next best option. Make an appointment, don't just turn up.
