I upgraded my ipad mini to iOS 9. Where can I get the passcode.

I upgraded my ipad mini to iOS 9. I forgot my apple id password so I requested for a change in password using my desktop computer. When I opened

my ipad mini, there was a note that it was disabled and I need to enter a passcode after restarting. Where can I get the passcode?

iPad Mini, iOS 8, OS X Yosemite

Hey lqmalazo,
To make sure that we are on the same page, your iPad mini is saying that it is disabled, If that is the case, the passcode will not be able to be entered in, but there is something that you can do about it.
What can be done is restoring your iPad. To do that, you will put your iPad into recovery mode and then use iTunes to restore it. If you have a back up in iTunes or in iCloud, then you can put your data back on after the restore completes. For more details, take a look at the article below.
