Itunes movies slow playback when trying to fast foward/backward

Alright so first things first, i had the previous version of itunes before 12.3.0.44. With the new version of itunes however the movies i bought experience slow playback when i press the fast forward/backward button, i did not have this problem with the aforementioned version i had previously and before anyone asks no my drivers are all up to date. So this is undoubtedly a problem on apples end not mine, if there is any way way of fixing this any advice would be greatly appreciated.
