iTunes won't burn CDs since update

Since updating my iTunes to version 12.3.0.44 my laptop will no longer burn CDs. It says there is an error and that the disc cannot be read or written to. It cancels the burn and ejects the disc. Really need to fix this as I need to burn discs for my job. Any help would be appreciated. I tried repairing iTunes but that didn't work
