App Store update pane: tapping icons doesn't show app info

In the Update pane of the App Store, tapping on an app's icon used to show the full info for that app. I could then see reviews and the app's number of stars. This still works on the iPhone. Why not on the iPad? Is there some other way to quickly get the info? The only way I've found is to search on the app's name, but takes far too long.

In the App Store> purchased you get the full information by tapping on the app icon. From updates the fastest way is to use the search field.
