Rome Total War Gold Edition Install Fail

I recently purchased Rome Total War Gold Edition through the APP store, and it is failing to install. The error message is not very descriptive - Install Failed, please go to the Purchases page.

I have a MacBook Pro, OSX 10.8.6, plenty of free space, I've tried numerous times, turned off the firewall, googled etc

Any advice?
