Can't sync iPhone 5.

Recently downloaded iOS 9.0.2 and now i cant sync my iphone. my itunes doesnt even recognize it.

Hi! Try to reset your device. This won't delete your data stored on this device.

  • Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button
  • Press and hold on the Home button
  • Keep holding both buttons until the display turns off and back on with Apple logo on it.

Alternatively, you may go to Settings - General - Reset - Reset All Settings

If your computer won't recognise your iOS device, follow the steps suggested by Apple.

I am having this same issue. Resetting the device did not work. I have installed all updates on both my Macbook Pro and Iphone 5s and resterted both devices as well, and iTunes still does nothing when I plug my phone in. I know the cable is working because i cam getting a charge when it is plugged in and it is a brand new Apple cable. please help this has been an ongoing issue!
