Safari 9.0 Empty Cache Manually

Hello All,

I'm running Saari 9.0 with El Capitaln, since updating over a week ago, overall pages hanging and not loading..just sits there. I hve tried the obvious things on these discussions bt I would like to empty the caches manually. I can locate the Library folder but can someone kindly direct me what to do from there please,? preferably step by step!

I can see the folder with 'Caches' then I open it up and then which folder do I need to go to and do I need to trash all of the folder with the contents? thank you very much

Also, is it safe to empty the other caches I see there? Thanks

If you go to Safari Preferences --> Advanced and tick the box that says "Show Develop menu in menu bar", you can empty them that way. Once you see Develop up there, between Bookmarks and Window, click on it, then scroll down to Empty Caches. That'll take care of it for you without you worrying about accidentally deleting something you shouldn't have.
