Q: iMessage not working on ipad after ios 9.2 update

Ugh. My iphone and ipad used to sync so that I could use either device to send/receive text messages. After the ios 9.0, 9.1, 9.2 updates the ipad messaging does not work. Have tried to reset network, changed Apple ID password, turn off/on device, turn on/off messaging. Nothing works. When I try to send text, it looks like its sending then bar stops just short of the end and I get the red "Not Delivered". Very frustrated. Any ideas how to fix? Thanks in advance.

Had the same problem. i was able to figure it out. On your iPhone - under Settings>Messages, turn on Text Message Forwarding. It will give you choice of which device, choose iPad. This seems to have fixed my issue. Hope it works for you.

THanks for advice but when I try this on my iphone I get message saying 'enter the code shown on ipad to allow iphone text messages to also be sent and received on ipad' but..what code? Can't see any code on ipad? No notification and can't get texts any more on ipad?? Did anyone else get this message?
