my iphone 5 is disabled i have conntcted to itunes but nothing is happening please can someone help me

i forgot my password and have disabled my iphone i have managed to connect it to itunes but nothing is happening can some one please advise me what i need to do next

Assuming you mean the devie passcode, this should help: If you forgot the passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your device is disabled - Apple Support
